About TKD.

Mark (1st Dan) and Jac (1st Dan) - Aged 49 and 17. My son (Jac) and I have been with the School since it started. My initial reasons for starting were purely personal, firstly to halt my rapidly expanding waist line and secondly to find some common ground with Jac (with some father and son bonding thrown in). These reasons would not seem uncommon as the School always seems to have a large number of students who are related in some way or another, it sometimes feels like one big family.

I feel that it is important for all parents to provide the best start in life for their children. TKD provides base qualities such as respect, control, moral decisiveness and self confidence, it has made me a very proud dad to see such qualities develop in Jac.

For me personally it has become a way of life, something that is never far from my thoughts, TKD has provided psychological stability, and when things get rough in everyday life, it acts as a focus of what life is really about.

Ben (1st Kup) and Ella (1st Kup) - Cardiff North TKD School is a really fun School to be in because of the events, including gradings, competitions, seminars, parties, BBQs and awards to be won. Me and my brother Ben go and think it’s great. Sparring, patterns, board-breaking and step spar are also included as you progress through higher grades. Mr Johns our instructor will help you in class sessions. Even if you join just for exercise and fitness you are welcome to join in.

Training.

Fraser (6th Kup) - I do Taekwondo as my brother and sister Rob and Emma do it, it is a great way to keep fit and do a self defence. Timber Hill is also a great part of our Taekwondo social events as you look forward to it all year round and wish the weather to be good for the extended weekend. It is fun, relaxing and packed with fun things to do.
